There are three tense : Past,Present and Future. Past Indefinite is the simplest to learn.
Formula: S+V2+O
( subject+2nd form of the verb +object.

1. He played cricket.
ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਕੇਟ ਖੇਡਿਆ।
2. She enjoyed the movie.
ਉਸਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆਂ।
3. I wrote a letter.
ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਲਿਖੀ।
4. We attended the class.
ਅਸੀਂ ਕਲਾਸ ਲਗਾਈ।
5. You broke the promise.
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਤੋੜਿਆ।
6. They helped the poor.
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ।
