Difference between Proper Noun and Common Noun

There is very confusing difference between proper noun and common noun if we see from a students viewpoint.Whether they can understand it easily or not.It is really helpful if we show them some pictures and ask them to tell its proper and common noun. If we are showing the picture of Mr.Dhoni ,ask them what common noun can be used for it.
